Americans Are Living Longer Than Ever Before…
But That’s Only Half the Story
Livescience.com August 19, 2009
U.S. life expectancy has reached an all-time high of almost 78 years according to the Centers for Disease Control in a recent report
Here’s the other half of the story…
Ø Despite having by far and away the highest health care spending per person in the world, the U.S. doesn’t even rank in the top 30 for life expectancy and ranks as one of the lowest among developed nations.
Ø Life expectancy gains are pretty much over and actually will be declining as the current trends in obesity and diabetes among children and adolescents continue to skyrocket.
What can make the U.S. #1 Again? The 5 Essentials:
1) Maximized Nerve Supply: The nerve system controls all body function. Loss of spinal curves, a forward shifting head, and/or degeneration of the spine lead to loss of nerve function.
2) Minimized Toxicity: Heavy Metals, pesticides, toxic mold, and the chemicals in your personal care and cleaning products all create a toxic environment for your cells.
3) Maximized Nutrition: If man created it in a laboratory or altered it in any way, don’t eat it.
4) Maximized Lean Muscle: Increased lean muscle is a HUGE indicator of healthy longevity. Are you doing your Surge Training sets 3 to 4 times per week?
5) Maximized Time Management: If you can’t manage your time, you can’t manage your relationships, your health, and your future. Plan your day, or your emergencies will plan your day for you.
